As with all expeditions of this nature literally no expense has been spared in scouring ebay for the latest up to date equipment (unless some older rubbish is cheaper).
Two Maps. The road atlas of Europe is particularly useful as, being published in 1978 , it has a general lack of those horribly big and fast motorways that everyone likes to avoid.

With a range exceeding 1/4 mile these will be used at all times except when out of range when shouting will be employed. |
